Henfield Area Response Team (HART)

2nd Tuesday of the month at 7pm

HART (Henfield Area Response Team) was formed in 2005 and is one of the first emergency responder units in the UK. We are a group of trained volunteers who respond to 999 calls requiring an ambulance to attend in Henfield and the surrounding area.

We work in partnership with South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAMB) NHS Trust and provide vital assistance to people who are ill or injured prior to the arrival of the Emergency Ambulance. Comprised totally of unpaid volunteers, the scheme is self-funded and relies on kind and generous donations from local people, businesses and organisations and fund-raising events. The money raised helps purchase equipment and keeps the scheme operational.

Please see our Services page for defibrillator locations.

If you are interested in joining us as a responder or to support us in our fundraising, please get in touch.
